DataSys Corporation is pleased to announce that Michael Newman has been promoted to a leadership position at DataSys.  Mike joined the firm in 2000 as a consultant, with promotions to senior consultant and senior engagement manager.  Prior to DataSys, he was a corporate controller at a 25+ million firm, where he managed the accounting activities for 11 companies and managed 8 staff.

Mike's expanded role will further augment his working partnership with DataSys' President, Lisa Daigle.  According to Ms. Daigle, "Mike has been a trusted advisor since he walked through the door.  He has served as a mentor and coach to his teammates, and is highly regarded by customers for his expertise and dedication to customer service.  At the top of the list is Mike's attitude-he walks through the door each day with a positive attitude.  I am energized to be working with Mike in yet another capacity to strengthen DataSys' relationships with customers."

Mike's accomplishments extend off the work field and onto the baseball field.  In summer 2009, Mike managed an all-star little league team to the tournament championship.  His enthusiastic team of underdogs beat the top two seeds on their way to the divisional championship.  This win was a first for Mike's hometown, and his team held their trophy high.

According to Cliff Hay, principle of Pyramid Practice Services and former Vice President of Consulting Services at Microsoft Business Solutions, "I worked closely with Mike while providing training to DataSys and instituting best practices for their implementation team.  Mike's contribution to DataSys' success rests not only in his unsurpassed dedication to the DataSys customer base, but also his strong, positive impact upon the professional and cultural successes of his peers and the organization as a whole.  I am certain that his promotion to key organizational management and team leadership will prove invaluable to team members and customers alike."
